How to report 'phish' emails
Recognizing Phishing Emails
Suspicious Sender: Check the sender’s email address. Phishing emails often come from addresses that look similar to legitimate ones but have slight variations.
Urgent Language: Be wary of emails that create a sense of urgency or fear, such as threats of account suspension.
Unusual Requests: Legitimate companies will never ask for sensitive information (like passwords or credit card numbers) via email.
Poor Grammar and Spelling: Many phishing emails contain spelling mistakes and poor grammar.
Suspicious Links: Hover over links to see the actual URL before clicking. Phishing links often lead to fake websites designed to steal your information.
